Meet Gem — a beautiful tabby and white girl with the sweetest nature and so much love to give. Gem is friendly, affectionate, and truly deserves a forever home where she can finally put down roots and feel safe.

Gem needs an outdoor home and a patient, understanding family who will give her the time she needs to settle. She has idiopathic cystitis, a stress-related condition that can occasionally cause her to miss her litter tray. With the right environment, this is very manageable — she takes daily medication (available on Amazon and very affordable) and typically has no issues once she feels calm and secure.

Gem has been returned to us three times — not because of who she is, but because she simply wasn't given enough time to adjust. Like many cats, Gem needs a settling-in period where she can decompress and learn to trust her new surroundings. For the right person, that patience will be repaid tenfold.
